Kaizenite is a robotics team that embodies the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen. The team continues to enhance its understanding and practice of science, technology, and engineering through a growth mindset.

 

The Kaizenite robotics team is a registered competitor (Team #21138) of the First Tech Challenge (FTC) by For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST).

 

The students that make up the robotics team champion “Gracious Professionalism” in all aspects of Robot Design:

  • Learning

  • Building

  • Prototyping

  • Programming

  • Marketing

  • Community outreach

Our Mission

The Kaizenite robotics team will collaborate and seek feedback from mentors in an environment that promotes growth through trial and error.

 

The Kaizenite robotics team will make an effort to always find new concepts, theories, or designs to explore within Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

 

The Kaizenite robotics team will outreach within local and larger communities to create a strong network of future S.T.E.A.M. professionals.

Our Vision

The Kaizenite robotics team envisions a future where students empower themselves to live the philosophy of Kaizen. The team hopes to cultivate impactful and long-lasting relations with local, national, and global communities in order to promote learning within S.T.E.A.M. fields.

 

The team plans on creating these connections through vertical and horizontal outreach strategies.

 

The students plan on empowering themselves through learning and practice of topics such as programming, electrical and mechanical engineering, and 3-D design.
